Price is 6-3 on the road with a 2.79 ERA and even better during day starts with a 6-1 record and 2.47 ERA. I like his chances against the Yankees today as the Yankees have not hit off Price in his 4 career starts as he's gone 3-1 with a 2.39 ERA. Meanwhile Pettite is having a career year at the age of 38. I don't think this will continue for him and he runs into the Rays who are red hot vs. LHP 10-4 in their last 14 road games vs. LH starter and 20-7 in their last 27 overall. Look for Price to take this match up as the Rays have a .297 average and .890 OPS in 209 career AB vs. Pettite. They got 6 ER off 9 hits in 5 innings off Pettitle earlier this year at Yankee Stadium I see some what of a similar game here today.
